O, Palanquin-Bearer, Which Way? Poem by Bijay Kant Dubey

O, Palanquin-Bearer, Which Way?

O, palanquin-bearer, which way,
Which has my,
Has my little daughter gone,
Gone away,
O, palanquin, palanquin-bearer,
My small daughter going,
Going away
After boarding the palanquin,
The palanquin,
She getting onto
And you lifting it
To take away,
To take away to her in-laws' house,
O, palanquin,
Palanquin-bearer,
Tell me, tell me,
How the way,
The way is,
How far, how far,
How, how will she,
Take care, you take care of
My daughter, my daughter,
O, palanquin, palanquin-bearer!

A small girl, small girl
She knows it not,
Knows it not the world,
The matters of it
And worldliness,
A small, small girl
Going,
Going to her home
And you taking,
Taking her to,
Take care,
Take care of her all the way
You with her!
