Obinaj'ofia Poem by Chukwuebuka Adebayo

Obinaj'ofia

Rating: 4.0

The cake we ate, how could we
Want them back again?
And powders that we shut, can't be
washed back by the rain.

Perhaps, An evil doer knows it's evil,
They wants us say it in their front.
Obinajo-ofia, what will this devil
Get in end, when he's got his want? .

The tree has grown and its apple you fell
Come near our binocular and look deeper
The Mosquito maybe full as a dirty well,
but tonight's bite won't stop his hunger.

Rather another pain to my back
Maybe all you need is to try.
To see white from black
Or setting clouds from the sky?

If you'll forgive yourself, I'll forget your murder
The chaser's chased too, the jailer is in jail.
I'll kiss your hand and embrace you as father
For we need someone to worship and hail.
