Obscurity - Poem by Sankar Sarkar

Here germ hovers in the air
Here flower loses its luster
Here land is too fertile to produce
Here womb is too stark to conceive
Here heart is too hard to discover love
Here man is sophisticated to envelop
Here all is too adulterated to precise

Here breath is too poisonous to believe
Here place is too precarious to live
Here all are dubious but love
But mind is too obscure to grasp

Topic(s) of this poem: love and pain
