Occupation Poem by Gert Strydom

Occupation

To be part of you, to become one
of a silky kind of shuddering,
when emotions and words fail,
in the pure unity that brings everything together
is more than passion without pretension,
when your eyes arrow sharp go much deeper,
when we are swept away on an unknown way,
coming to a new kind of meaning,
then it is of both a kind of occupation.
