Ocean Of Emotion Poem by Allyson Gordon

Ocean Of Emotion

Rating: 4.5

The heavy waves
Crash onto the shore
The deep blue water
Comes back for more

Splashing and foaming
Then drawing back fast
It starts over again
How long will this last?

The ocean so deep
With so many things hidden
Some to be discovered
Others forbidden

Sitting, staring
Curious of the oceans ways
Trying to make sense of everything
Lost in a daze

Daydreaming of laughter
As I look out to sea
Wishing I could become
All the things I wanted to be

The sea is like my mind
Mysterious, deep and dark
Every wave is a new emotion
My every thought, so stark

I love this one... It's so strong. But better to have a mind like the ocean than of a single half eaten blade of grass... Luv Rissa
