Ocean Waves Poem by Ernest Greiser

Ocean Waves

Rating: 4.5

One day I took a trip to the shore and sea
For its turbulent waves were calling to me
They said ' Come to us in our watery domain'
'But I cannot swim well, ' I said without shame
The persuasion from thee ocean and those waves was great
Sadly I could not know what would then be my fate
As into the ocean I went going farther from the shore
When a huge wave took my body and I was no more
Yet if you listen when the waves deposit on the shore sea foam
You will hear me calling, 'Come, come, join me in my nice watery home! '

A person can get caught up in this poem. Maybe it is best not to wander to far from the shore.
