The Day I Found My Wife Poem by Aina Tumininu

The Day I Found My Wife

The day I will never forget
This week I will delete not
In this little memory of mine
Words can only understate this
Yet in words shall I express them
THE DAY I FOUND MY WIFE
********** ******** ************

My beloved that I searched for years
There in front of me
I stared firmly at her
I knew she saw me not
So I stood and pondered
Will she come with me today?
I couldn't move closer and ask her this
Cause I fear what her response might be
She walked up and down
Picking different stuff into her shopping basket
Shall I pay for her?
Since she is my wife
My wife and my lovely wife
******* ******* ********* ****

My heart beats faster as she turned
Her sexy lips makes my mouth water
That lasting beauty lits her face
I keep staring at her
As she glows in her pink gown
Her figure 8 is stunning and jaw dropping
Her light coloured skin got my head spinning
This my found wife filled my heart with activities:
********** ****** **********************

I stirred up courage inside of me
Readjusted my suit
Cleaned my face with my White handkerchief
I moved closely to her
She looked at me and smiled
'The man I lost for years'
That is her thought, I guessed
Do you like this one?
She nodded and smiled again
I was surprise to see her concurring
I had expected a gloomy look
spiced with a blooming slap
'What do you want you jerk? '
I heard this in my thought
I quickly held her hands
I can smell the fragrance from her hair
With people admiring the fit
Together we walked
Exchanged our digits
And a good bye kiss to part with
*********** *********************

I wouldn't want to loose her again
The one I searched for years
I can't stop thinking of it
Our wedding, how glorious it was
Our babies
Beautiful and handsome they had grown
Our first night together
Our laughter and joy
our cries and sorrows
All we shared together
'We are just a perfect fit'
*****************************

Now, here is she in front if me
In this place where I can shop for her
I picked up a beautiful female shoe
suddenly, I heard a voice behind me
'Uncle, but you wanted to buy a suit? '
oh yes, this is for my wife
The voice came again
'But you were never married'
'And of coarse a Catholic priest'
I came back to my senses
Looked up to behold the damsel
Behold! there is her man with her
With their little baby
Holding each other firmly
They walked happily to their car
And drove off while I stand
Imagining a wife who was never mine
oh! how I wish it as real.
