Ode To A Dandelion Poem by Nancy Chambers

Ode To A Dandelion

Rating: 5.0

Oh the Dandelion
So hated and misaligned
Take the leaves and cut a bunch
Make yourself a salad for lunch
Or dig and roast the root
Instead of spraying poison to pollute
Little yellow petals of sunshine
Use them to make some wine
I know people think I'm insane
Because I love the lawn lover's bane
