Ode To A Mother [2007]
When babies cry
And teenagers feel heartbreak
They turn towards god’s gift
From the heavens above.
When days are grey
With no delight in sight,
Children lie in arms
Of mothering angels.
I know not all
About this mysterious, vast world;
But what I do know is this:
“One cannot build a kingdom
Of freedom and happiness
Nor shall they protect it without
Love and care of a mother.”
