Ode To An Illusion Poem by Cori Arbuss

Ode To An Illusion

Rating: 5.0

Bound at the soul and eternally one at the heart
We will together cross this path over to our new plane of existance
Getting high off our own scents and flying around with these black gods
We will live this life as one
Though the road ahead is rough, and doubt is all around.
We will make it to the other side.
Our new world where nothingness is all there is and hopefullness is status quo.
So let me die in our final kiss, giving up all that I am
To become all we are
As one.

-Written for my uncle's wedding. Yes, it is supposed to be sappy as hell.
