Ode to an Unknown Friend
Yesterday I came across 'Dream'
It was so real and delight,
As the day was very bright.
I wish, for life it continues to stream……!
Yesterday I came across ‘ Surprise'
It was so sudden and fine,
Unforgettable experience of mine
That, still I cannot believe my eyes……!
Yesterday I came across ‘ Friendship'
It was so friendly though unknown,
Like, for ages together I have flown.
I wish, (it to be)a never ending flight of kinship…..!
Yesterday I came across ‘Love'
So unconditional and kind,
That left each bond behind.
To keep close forever, seems to behove….!
Yesterday I came across the ‘ Truth'
It was so clear like day light
That ‘love can solve any fight'
I wish, all could love to remove any ruth….!

Some experiences are dream like- - - -Social media have reduced distances and brought people of far distances come nearer- - - - -the surprise of experiencing friendship and love for some one unknown is quite natural because of its suddenness - - - -A beautiful poem, thanks for sharing.

Apart from the unique experience, let me say something about the way this poem is writ. I liked the way the first line is repeated except for one new word, and then completing the rhyming quatrain around it. Marvellous, dear poet, top marks
