Ode To Failure Poem by Wale Smyle

Ode To Failure

The thought of you make me shiver
Your sound makes run a thousand miles
Yet you are my best friend
A friend I can’t comprehend
You impact in me the power not to try
fear, discourage and ignorance
It’s doesn’t take a talent to have a dream
I am a dreamer
My dream is to fly high in the sky
But you denied me my wings
Every step I take
You are a step ahead
Every close success
That you’ll behead
The sun is racing for the west
Letting the day to rest
I will rest not with the day
And fight till you fade away
Dark in the night
The sea is cold
Day is bright
I value than gold
I can’t win all the time
And I won’t fail forever
I will strive
Till I find
I’d fall
Now I rise
Adieu failure adieu
