Fur that blackens the sun
So swift, so sleek, so divine.
The knowledge of its presence
Crawls up your spine
Admire them quickly
You only get one chance
Silvery yellow eyes like the moon
A sleek construction ready to pounce.
The whiteness of their teeth
Be it the last color you see
Tis an honor to encounter such a beast
All others be envious of this feline.
Creatures of the night
They will shake you to your core
If you're their prey you'll be no more.
Even the stars scream at its majestics
Scream stars, fear the name, watch her mane
So sleek, so quick, so full of fates cry
No pain shall ever stain the light of her eye

For a 9th grade student, I must say, the poem is very well written. I wonder who has rated this poem only 1/10. I am the second to vote. 'The knowledge of its presence Crawls up your spine' - Well said. 'They will shake you to your core If you're their prey you'll be no more.' - True!
