Ode To September's Serenity Poem by Dr Shamim Ali

Ode To September's Serenity

O September, thou art a tranquil sight,
As summer's warmth yields to thy gentle hand,
The days grow mild, and nature's pure delight,
In thee, a season's grace begins to stand.

The orchard's boughs bend low with ripened fruit,
Apples and pears in hues of red and gold,
A harvest's treasure, nature's sweet pursuit,
In thy embrace, the Earth's secrets unfold.

The songbirds, they prepare for their farewell,
In whispered notes, they bid adieu to May,
Their melodies, a melancholy spell,
As autumn's change takes their sweet songs away.

But in this wistful time, a calming hush,
A peaceful lull, a tranquil, golden gleam,
September's serenity, a gentle blush,
A moment held, as if within a dream.

Amidst the turning leaves and whispered breeze,
We find a stillness in thy soft embrace,
A poignant beauty, like a work of ease,
Ode to September's serenity and grace.

So here's to thee, September, tranquil friend,
A bridge between the seasons, gentle, kind,
In thy embrace, our hearts find solace's blend,
A tranquil ode, a peaceful state of mind
