Of Arrogant People Poem by Francis Duggan

Of Arrogant People

Of arrogant people there are quite a few
And this is not saying anything that is new
So full of themselves and their own self conceit
The people who are not a pleasure to meet
But sadly they are the people by the majority chosen to rule
And power over others to their egos fuel
There are too many of them far too many indeed
And of more of their sort the Human World not in need
Arrogant people are overbearingly proud
And of their achievements in public they like to talk loud
To them the opinions of others to little amount
And that their own opinions only does count
For attention the arrogant of mind with each other compete
And they are the people I would rather not meet.
