Of Kings Poem by Uloia Norris Moore

Of Kings

We no longer live
in an age or so
it seems but in a
dream.

To do what is right
so you must fight
for the week
the meek
all people
one finds.

In these the days
now at hand
put aside passion
open mind
samaritan coveted
for so long
becomes the ghost
a stone so
cast
in pond.

Saith most.
