There are some things
Which have to be done
In this lifetime
Before life passes us by
Some bridges to be crossed
Some hands to be held tight
And never let gone
Some love experiences to be had
Some sunsets to be watched
Glorious sunrises and new days
To be welcomed together
When will I see you, my love?
My longing gets stronger
And keeps me awake
I want to sleep and get some rest
But find myself yearning for you
Every minute of each passing day
