Of P And V Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Of P And V

Of P and V

Of "P", "V" and the "F"
-for fun to acts of bed,
-trivia, and joke's sake
-to insult or to curse,
-much, too much…
-has been said.

But hardly of flakes
-when dancing in the air,
-flocking together.

Ignored and forgotten
-they arrive by sudden
-at the end of the waltz
-embrace and cuddle.

On a branch, on tree
-where the pine is sitting,
-the flakes, now snow,
-gossip and speak low
-to backbite, push dagger
-in the heart of winter.

Tired of cold, darkness
-they praise "Sun-father"
-in secret; these embers!

Suddenly comes storm
-many tanks in the desert
-with drones and planes
-Navy seals and soldiers.

The Wadis turn rivers
-blood runs like water.

Frozen snow, now,
-unaware of the light,
-in darkness sanitized,
-scattered, roam around
-as bullets from guns,
-paving path for the sun.
