Of The Kingdoms Of Far Away Poem by Robert Rorabeck

Of The Kingdoms Of Far Away

Rating: 3.0

This is a peaceful union that doesn’t exist:
The king kissing a peasant, the prom queen my neck;
And these are the roses that will at last wilt
Unjustified and sweltering in the throats of the forest,
And the rain patters over the roofs of the kingdoms of
Far away.
