Oh Dear Papa - Poem by Joyce Hemsley

Life is complete when you call me 'sweet'
Yesterday's troubles fly faraway.
I hear the music's wonderful beat
And happiest hours are here to stay.

I see only love within your eyes
I know there is love in mine!
The feeling follows wherever I go
And the outcome is really divine.

Words of the Holiest tell no lies
Great poets have explained in rhyme
Sonnets are written to set hearts aglow
And the outcome is 'love' every time.
