I believe this child
Knew who I was
When finally
She recognized me
But intuition tells me this
And wisdom
She'll never admit her blunder
I wonder now
Will truth be told

God
I wonder
For in my heart
I grieve this child
Now 20 and assunder
Dance away
Wonder
Pray
Dance away
You're 20
For I am not your enemy
I simply love
