Oh, Love, Where Are You Now Poem by Peter S. Quinn

Oh, Love, Where Are You Now

Oh love where are you now
life blossoms are withering,
we need you here somehow
for what winter is bringing;
life dreams are going away
with a sorrow burn in the heart,
we need you on a sunny day
so we can again freshly start.

Life dreams are going away
to where I do not now know,
I hope though it'll be okay
and we will again life grow;
for blossoms of spring come
to give us the life of youth,
we need those true blossom
of innocent beauty and truth.

Oh love where to I don't know
I can not but give my tears,
and peace in my heart grow
for love of thy coming years;
a heart might burn in a fire
but love will never go away,
for hate shall again soon tire
and love bring again new day!
