Oh Lover Mine Poem by Carlos Perez

Oh Lover Mine

Do you sleep while dreaming of having wings?
Would you like to know the way an angel sings?
As brilliant as the radiant spark in your eyes,
A new life will soon rise.
I saw a girl with a sparkling shine,
And then I realized, it was you, oh lover mine.

One and two, we go to dive in a fountain.
Three and four, we go to climb up a mountain.
Five and six, we rest on the floor and watch the clouds.
Seven and eight, we look for our shrouds.
Once the sunset shows up, we will go for number nine.
This is a great adventure...oh lover mine.

I saw a bright light; it was a glancing star.
I am now holding your hand, and it feels slightly soft.
It is amazing that we have gone this far.
As we rest on the ground, we can see the Ahamkara fly aloft.
Of all the days I have had, this has been the most divine.
Oh lover mine.
