Oh My Lamb Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Oh My Lamb

Oh my lamb

Oh my lamb
Years have passed
Parts of you can still
Be in me…

Have no doubt you were killed
Have no doubt with you I
Then was fed.

But dear, the gone one
Be aware "I will come, "
As was said in movie.

Till then though my friend
On screen of my mind you play
I feed you with the leaves
We play…

As we had till that day…
I recall teaching you
"Use your horn."

I taught you how knock
As our game
And you learned.

You grew fast; too fast
Followed me till day-last
And your horns…
Oh it hurt and I ran
Ran away to hiding
You found me underneath the quilt
Of Korsi…lifted it

I cried seeking help.

Oh baby I miss you.
