Oh Nevermind Poem by Alice Noct

Oh Nevermind

You can cast me away!
But remember my child
If I can make you who I want to be,
I can make you make someone else to be you.
So don't leave me.
It's your fault anyway.
That the cheese man is here,
and You are left all alone
In your sad little shelter of
A sad little heart.
Read your Eloise books,
Even if you are old.
Eat your veggies,
Even if I don't eat mine.
I'm not a mother!
I refuse to be....
and while I say this,
You just close into me
and suffocate me.
Like the brat you are.

This was inspired by a friends mother who is very unstable.
