Oh Weave Me A Song Poem by Peter S. Quinn

Oh Weave Me A Song

Weave me a summer air
Oh sully autumn breeze
Give me the blossoms there
Before the ground will freeze
This earth is now so cold
With a darkness coming day
And frost tones to unfold
The glisten frost drops play

Darling my bouquet's spring
How much I now long you
And to you songs sing
With the fair of sky blue
My mood is still of yours
And feelings of greenery
I adore the bed flowers
In my garden and scenery

Oh weave me a song of love
For clouds that come in
And give me the rain above
To take that frosty pin
And now my window is white
Wait! - What is it that I see?
Some blossoms glass glide
Frost roses of winter’s beauty
