Oh You From My Memories Poem by Peter S. Quinn

Oh You From My Memories

Oh you from my memories
still so close inside,
a spring-summer rose
where my times will abide;
there is nothing going away
if still in my heart found,
like yesterdays in its play
that comes always around.

Oh you - I shall remember
even in years going by,
like autumn in September
before it says goodbye;
oh day forget me not
my rose is still singing,
with all the heart she got
'I still my love am bringing'.

Feelings wander not away
the go just deep inside,
'till the rise of a new day
that shall you safely guide;
for those are memories
the love that once met you,
and heart inside belives
they'll come again through.
