Ojadike (The Lion King) Poem by Warri Stanley

Ojadike (The Lion King)

Ojadike
(The Lion King)

David was like everyone of you,
Who just came through the back door,
To shoot an arrow and falls among stars,
A warmth and cheerful brother.

But that their green-eyed is the problem,
Is good for man and his offspring to be rich,
So how is that now became a barrier to man?
But no matter how a star will aways be a star.

OBO is that boy of yesterday,
Who was packing sand into his pocket,
But now OBO is the man of the youths,
Who has so much likes like Atiku.

Bey, who came from the lion's den,
A den finer than Eko hotel,
A mother of three hearts.
Who still glow like a full moon,

Her hair and body blazing radiance,
Like a young daughter of a gazelle.
And her waist careen like a snake,
Someone who has met the gods one on one,

Oduduwa, loki, freya and nefertiti,
Authors of music of this world.
She was here, OBO was not allowed to meet her,
I could smell invidia.

OBO Is that boy with chiddar larger than the world,
But why was he excluded from "the lion king"?
Pixilated, loathly, implike and impish,
I'm even more upset like an hungry lion.
