Old And New Poem by Edward Kofi Louis

Old And New

Old and new,
But i can't turn back the years gone by;
Old and new,
But i can't turn the hands of the clock;
And he came and stole your hear away! !
That is why i am here alone to testify for all that occurred.

Old and new,
But it was in your eyes when the rains came down;
And, how can i easily forget about this experience?
But, somewhere someday i will find you once again.

Separate line and separate lives,
With the old and new stories to tell about life;
But, i want to be myself today against all odds!
From a distance to another distance,
But, i will always find my way home.

Old and new,
But extremely close to life's own adventures in the name of Nature's own hands!
And with circumstances beyond my control like the muse of your love in the desert;
But, nobody knows tomorrow! !
And, i will always remember life's own blues on me alone along the line,
However, i will always do my best to do right thing.
