Old Film Poem by Joe Howell

Old Film

Rating: 5.0

I bought a used camera, from ebay.

I have been thinking of some
pictures to take.
How about the
time we spent at that brook,
back in 74.
Or beside that ole willow tree.
There was the time we spent holding hands
while watching movies, at the drive in.

I can see it plain as day, the smile on your
face, the first Christmas, when we were so poor,
that you made mine from cloth, and yours was a bible.

Yes I could take several rolls, just of that.
Remeber that green oldsmobile?
I could take another pic, of the baby, sitting on the hood.
Her and that big wheel, that was ridden for so many miles.
Halloween night, when she was so sick, she had to go home.
Yes, I would need a flash.

Flash-
Those pictures, have allready been developed.
