Old Friends Found Poem by Paul Warren

Old Friends Found

There's a smile spreading in recognition
Of someone not seen in your life's latest edition
And it doesn't take long for the laughter
To spread across the room's chatter

The years disappear and things become clear
Of what is remembered and held dear
With conversations continuing without hesitation
Our mate-ship nurtured is our anticipation.
