Old Lights Poem by Carolyn Brunelle

Old Lights

So many, and each one
represents a part of my history;
dear old friends and mentors that
I continue to dust and hold close.
Wherever new journeys take me
these are the sentinels of my past.
Old lights they may be,
but I treasure those paths inside
where they brought me
and taught me to see.
