Old Man's Advice Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Old Man's Advice

Rating: 5.0

Old man called his four sons
Explained calmly the reasons
“Maintain unity at all costs”
“It is needed most” he was worried

He called one by one
To pick up woods bundle
“Break it at one stroke” he ordered
No one could do it and slightly whispered

He then called them pick up one piece
They could break it at ease
“If you are united, no one would”
But if you are disunited people will fool”

They all agreed and understood his valuable advice
The poor man smiled after getting promise
He was happy man at the time of death
He had satisfaction and could easily breathe his lat

A fine story in fine form with a moral Indian should learn to practice. Sir, if you don't mind, please change woods bundle in to twigs/sticks bundle.
