Old Soul Poem by Daniel Frater

Old Soul

Rating: 5.0

"Old Soul"

Many years ago,
In knights in shining armor time,
In fairy-tale and storybook time,
They burned you publicly for being a witch,
Or a heretic, or an apostate,
Or just being skeptical.
Today,
In smart phone time,
In Times Square at midnight time,
They burn you publicly for not being a witch
Or a heretic, or an apostate,
Or just being skeptical.
