Old Tradition Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Old Tradition

Rating: 5.0

Old tradition rules the custom
Lot many sayings are forgotten seldom
They have become corner stone
Even after many centuries they have not gone

One such saying goes like this
Let the life go for promises made
But words should not be taken as trade
They are holy and as sharp as blade

Let world guess about what you intend to
Let them know also what would if they offend to
Any breach of promises may not be taken lightly
They will be pursued till end rightly

Some of the martial races follow tradition
The break of vows is out of question
They stand firm and die for cause
There is no other choice

The kings were known for their nobility
It was considered as one the best quality
They will give justice even at the cost of royal displeasure
Even the prince or any courtesan was punished for sure
