Old Tribes Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Old Tribes

Old tribes

I am free really
With freedom totally
With lost tail
But we don't want tofu ail

We dig out root
With bare foot
To sow the ancient seeds
So to meet our deeds

We strongly believe
In nationalism
And worship old heroes
As prayer circulates in air and goes

We shall protect our folk
And talk
About not leaving the traditional link
And all differences to sink

We are old tribes
And proudly we describe
With open mind to all our brethren
To convert the land into heaven

Old Tribes
