On A Shy Girl Poem by james watkin

On A Shy Girl

A light, not earth's, of
Revelatory-brilliant particles
In your look of awe
Is evidenced. In all those notables

Of replies abashed;
Of thinking, veiled; of white modesties -
As from out a god's
Realm had I stepped into your pieties!
