On Inequality Poem by Francis Duggan

On Inequality

It will never become part of humanity
Equality for everyone never will be
And though it only can be quite a sad thing to say
Humanity works in an unequal way
Worldwide inequality between people in the twenty first century is rife
It is as always an every day part of human life
Inequality can come about by birth circumstance
Those born to very poor parents of success stand little chance
Since their chances in life one can say far less
Than many have of any form of success
Life is the greatest gift you does possess
But equality between people never will be
Since in humanity there will always be inequality.
