This is very tender and its sincerity is so refreshing. The way you link personal love of J. with the literary love of Pushkin enhances both relationships. Your poem begins in modesty - I'm no Pushkin, you admit - but the poem which follows that humble statement has such integrity and gentleness, it speaks the truth of the heart, and on that level, you equal that admirable quality in Pushkin. You may not have his genius (Who does? !) but you have his honesty.
