On The Death Of A Giant (J.L.W.)

This generation, for a platform
Of credibility for its legend
Is dovetailing hands.
Upon no such applause
King Authur stands!

Springs to clinch, each floorboard
Of lacquered fame each year
Such calibre of shadow.
Less often when hurtled
By chivalrous motto!
