Time's calibrations in Earthly calendars,
His vast Creations amidst
Man's excuse for celebration
Signalling a fresh beginning!
Mortal man jumps in joy,
Life's definition redefined:
In acute zeal to conquer
The brief length of his life.
Vibrant summer then the late monsoon,
In winter it ends; in the upper halve
Is it the Maker's anniversary that
Terminates the Nature's seasonal catalogue?
Dull grey paths of life
Among the lively green-
Bright sunrise over the horizon
Implying a new morning.
Idle dreams on cold nights
Wakes up in bold challenges.
Glorious days are no far
For what men eagerly awaits.
Listen! The church bell rings
Let us greet the New Year,
The cuckoo calls on a flowering bough
A swift stream flows near…
