On The Pages Of My Life
On the pages of my life
You will find one's childhood
Singing a melancholy song
Like the owl's cry at midnight.
On the pages of my life
You will find a helpless boy
Fighting against poverty
To earn his livelihood.
On the pages of my life
You will find a boy
Swimming against the current
Of the river of tradition.
On the pages of my life
You will find a youth
Saluting justness and truth,
Honesty and beauty.
On the pages of my life
You will find a man
Determined, laborious
And dedicated to his work.
On the pages of my life
You will find a love story
Written in the golden letters
Glittering in the sky of eternity.
