On The Run Poem by Theresa Ann Moore

On The Run

Come around, go around
Over and under
Above and down
In the dark and up at dawn
Way below and jetting high
From the east, then to the west
Spontaneous and on time
Announcing and saying good bye
The rays of the sun are on the run
Giving life to growing things that must die
