On The Throne Poem by Randy McClave

On The Throne

As I look at the world about
As I hear people, hate, accuse and shout,
People screaming and lies they are tellin'
They are all seeking and wanting a rebellion.
Hate and sin and evil is everywhere
I still say a prayer,
And as people and governments want to control us
I still look towards the lord Jesus.
People are hating the immigrants who are poor
On them they want to close the door,
Even though many fought and suffered to get here
For them there is no tear.
People are fighting and complaining about oil
And how to own and control it, is there toil,
And how the world is falling apart
Everyday everyone is carrying there problems in a cart.
Countries are screaming for new leaders
Many who are just hate feeders,
Seeming their true desire and druther
It is to hate and accuse each other.
Many are ignoring the truth
They all see the illusion of the forbidden fruit,
But, no matter how the world might complain and moan
God! is still on the throne.
