On Their Views On Life Poem by Francis Duggan

On Their Views On Life

On their views on life them we dooppose
But are their opinions not as important as ours though we see them as our foes
To some of us they see life in a different way
But it is each to their own as the wise one does say
In their political views from you to the far left or far right
Which makes them as different from you as day is from night
But in their words they never does try to deceive
Though you may not like them for on what they does believe
Since of your way of thinking they are not of that kind
You may not applaud them for speaking their mind
If we all shared the same views and in ways thought the same
We may seem quite boring for want of a better name
Do not treat them as foes though with their opinions you do not agree
Live and let live is how it ought to be.
