On West Bench Poem by Arunesh Goswami

On West Bench

The west bell rings
And we flied there free
To glorify the earth with lovely happenings
To find thy love back; do we?
We moved on with thy rhyme
That moves the sky and sea
We moved on thru the wilder time
To hold each other; do we?
The stars above shine bright and brighter
The wild wind blows, the sky coloured blue
And me in shackles of pain O another year
Far, far away from you.
I hear not the stories of the east
To find you back I set free
And though thy road ahead covered in mist
We are blissful, ain't we?
I behold thy love's Terpsichore divine
I behold it smiling at me
Embracing thy clouds, the tune sublime
Creaks for us to mingle; do we?
