Onassis Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Onassis

Onassis

Am not sure, if read, heard?
-the words of Onassis:
- "I acted dishonest! "

He dealt in the matches
-took out the drawers
-from the matchboxes
-then placed inverted…

When time came to users
-pulling out for lighting,
-the sticks would fly,
-scattered on ground.

Nobody bothered to
-bend over collecting
-the worthless matchsticks.

The losers would replace
-by payment and purchase.

This was how Onassis
-made airline "Olympic"
-and married the "Jacky."

Horrific is our life
-devil is the mankind!

Shameless, we have cut off
-the trees, old and young;
-gone hunting and fishing
-destroyed everything
-using our deadly tools
-trawlers…trapping…

Then cry like a wolf
- "The bear killed mother child, "
-why don't we look at us?

Those around the Yukon
-set traps for fur hunt…
