You light up my eyes
and the thing is you don’t even try
Your brown eyes kill me inside
I feel they look right through me
That’s why I feel alive whenever in your presence
You never did much to draw me in
Your 'ways' kept me close
even when times were unbearable
you were there
in mind and thought
or face to face
you were all I thought about before
but things change
for the best and sometimes worst
You are one of a kind
you’re a hard one to find
you’re a friend indeed
