Once A Month (Poemhunter.Com Exclusive) Poem by Lance Carthen

Once A Month (Poemhunter.Com Exclusive)

Im cramped and Im bloated.
My feet are all swollen.

Theres a headache in my brain.
Im sweatin and itching,

And I cant stop bitching.
You said hello and I compained.

Everytime I go to the bathroom,
I have to flush four times.

If you get to close and I hear you breathe,
You'll be the next victim in line.

Wish I was faking this constipation.
I havent left the house in six days.

I think your crazy, my hormones are raging.
Feel like Im knawing on a chain.

My nose is running.
There's venom in my eyes.

My teeth are aching.
I feel too ugly to go outside.

Your stuck with me.
Yes sir, everyday this week.

When your gone I just feel so alone.
Its, just for seven days,

What do you mean that Im insane?
Where did my shotgun go?
