Once I Was The Greatest Poem by Edwin Tanguma

Once I Was The Greatest

Once I Was The Greatest

Some may call me crazy
I think I'm losing my mind
I seem to misplace things
They are just so hard to find

When I was much younger
Finding things was easier
Now when I am searching
My eyes only see a blur

I find it hard to write
In my current state of stress
Words do not flow freely
I'm confussed I must confess

Once I was the greatest
Poet that has ever been
How I long for those days
Now I'm only a has-been

I think I need to get away from everything for a while...IF only I could afford to take a vacation...Stress stinks...
